Well, weíve made it to the end of our first year, which means the next edition of will be a first birthday celebration issue. Maybe weíll lash out and get a spot of colour to mark the occasion.
The magazine feels good for now. Weíve printed some interesting and engaging articles over a wide range of topics this year, pieces that may not have seen the light otherwise. An article from last issue has been re-printed in both the Queensland and South Australia Ausdance broadsheets, and in this issue we publish an article that shares its life with Kinesis (Vic Ausdance) as well.

It seems there is a need for this forum for the exchange ideas and information, and it feels good to be a part of this broader community. I feel that it is important to start to develop this forum to discuss improvisation in a way which goes beyond the anecdotal and delves further into the intricacies, origins and mechanics of process.

Thank you to everyone who has helped support the magazine and to everyone who will help again by re-subscribing. Yes, itís resubscription time: I need barely point out that subscriptions are the only way we can keep this magazine going.
