Since the last edition
of <proximity> there have been a number of Improvisational Performance
events that have occurred throughout Australia. You can read a little
about Precipe, a season of spontaneous choreography in Canberra, and some
of the ideas it spawned in the correspondence section. There was the Boiler
Room in Hobart and the inaugural Improvisation Festival of Melbourne in,
well, Melbourne - hopefully there will be some responses and reflections
on these events in a coming edition.
